Warranty period

All our watches are guaranteed for 2 years from the date of purchase, subject to the terms and conditions set out in this warranty, and upon presentation of proof of purchase*.

*Invoice, order confirmation, or buyer's first and last name.

Warranty terms and conditions

The warranty is valid only if the product has not been modified or repaired by an unauthorized third party.

If repair is not possible, the watch will be replaced with an identical or equivalent model.

Any unauthorized intervention will void the warranty, without extending its initial duration.

Watches

Our watches are guaranteed against any manufacturing or assembly defects occurring under normal use, as defined below.

In the event of a defect recognized by our workshop, the components concerned will be repaired or replaced free of charge.

What the warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing or assembly defects
  • Hidden defects that escaped our quality control

What the warranty does not cover:

  • Water damage:

For models rated at 10 ATM or higher, the warranty only applies if the crown has been properly screwed down. Otherwise, repairs will be at the customer's expense.

  • Impacts, falls, and abrasions:

Damage resulting from impact, crushing, or falls (broken glass, scratched casing, etc.) is not covered.

  • Normal wear and tear and aging:

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear on the watch (scratches on the glass or case, natural patina on the metal, etc.). It is recommended to avoid contact with chemicals (perfumes, lotions, creams, etc.).

  • Magnetization:

Exposure to magnetic fields may cause the watch to run irregularly. This phenomenon is not covered.

  • Crown pulled out:

Even if unintentional, a crown that has been pulled out cannot be covered by the warranty. Screw-retained crowns must always be closed properly to avoid any risk of weakening.

  • Unauthorized interventions:

Any watch that has been opened or repaired by an unauthorized person will void the warranty.

  • Improper use:

Any malfunction resulting from use that does not comply with the instructions provided is excluded.

  • Loss or theft:

The warranties do not apply in the event of loss or theft of the watch.

BRACELETS AND ACCESSORIES

Bracelets and accessories are also covered by our warranty in the event of a manufacturing defect discovered during normal use.

Any item deemed defective will be replaced free of charge.

What the warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects

What the warranty does not cover:

  • Theft or loss
  • Natural wear and tear of the material
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or accident (scratches, excessive creasing, etc.)

Repair

Our after-sales service carries out repairs in our workshop.

  • The watch must be examined to determine the cause of the problem and verify whether the warranty applies.
  • If the repair is covered, it will be carried out free of charge.
  • If it is not, a detailed quote will be sent to you before any work is carried out.

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs after repair are the responsibility of the customer in the following cases:

  • The repair is not covered by the warranty;
  • No problems detected after analysis;
  • The malfunction is caused by a simple incorrect setting made by the customer.

If the repair is covered by the warranty, MaisonDuTemps will cover the return shipping costs.
